Hansi Flick (born February 5, 1965) is a highly successful German football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of FC Barcelona.
Playing Career: As a player, Flick was a midfielder. He notably played for Bayern Munich from 1985 to 1990, winning multiple Bundesliga titles and the DFB-Pokal.
Early Coaching Career: Flick began his coaching career in the lower leagues of German football. He managed TSG 1899 Hoffenheim before taking on assistant roles.
Assistant Coach Roles: He served as an assistant coach for Germany national team under Joachim Löw from 2006 to 2014, contributing significantly to their success, including winning the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Bayern Munich Success: His greatest managerial success came at Bayern Munich. He initially joined as an assistant coach in 2019 and was later appointed interim manager.
